The Short Score: Great Lakes and Southeastern Circuit Champs

<p>Great Lakes and Southeastern Circuit champs were crowned Nov. 9-12 with the&nbsp;<a href="https://teamropingjournal.com/news/cody-reed-and-jace-mcdaniel-win-2023-great-lakes-circuit-finals-in-unconventional-fashion/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Great Lakes Circuit Finals</a>&nbsp;in Louisville, Kentucky, and the Southeastern Circuit Finals in Davie, Florida.</p><p>Cooper Bruce and Wyatt Kanan came from fifth and fourth in the Great Lakes standings to clinch the year-end titles, thanks to a third-round win Saturday, Nov. 11. Kanan joins The Short Score to talk about the win and what it means to him.</p><p>Clay Green has a similar story. He and Bart Brunson paired up for the Southeastern Circuit Finals, Brunson entering Davie second in the heading standings, while Green entered&nbsp;<em>ninth</em>&nbsp;on the heel side. By winning the first round and the average, Brunson and Green were able to capture the year-end titles as well. Green discusses on The Short Score what that leap means to him.</p>
