The schedule is King, but sometimes you may have to scrap it

<p>As I mentioned last time, the schedule is the one of the most important aspects of a successful Homeschooling experience. However, none of us are immune to the upheavals of life, and sometimes things happen that we do not expect to happen - a child gets ill, someone passes away, there's an unforeseen emergency, etc.. the list goes on and on. It is important even before these things happen, to have the mindset that although the schedule is extremely important, we should not become prisoners of it. We need to understand from the very beginning that there will be times when due to circumstances, we have to amend our schedule or scrap it completely on certain days. And, guess what? That is totally okay. Things happen out of our control sometimes, and we may have to fall of of our schedule sometimes.
