<p>Prominent XRP supporter @XRPcryptowolf recently declared that Ripple Labs and the entire XRP Army are "putting up the toughest fight of their careers" against the SEC, citing a recent tweet by Jake Chervinsky, policy chief of the US Blockchain Association.</p> <p>"Ripple fights the SEC more tenaciously than Elon Musk"</p> <p>Nearly two hours ago, Chervinsky stated that regardless of how the crypto community views Ripple as a firm or XRP as a cryptocurrency, they can agree on two key points: Ripple has been fighting the SEC in court, giving the securities regulator no mercy.</p> <p>Several other cryptocurrency companies have previously chosen to "cave and settle," including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the world's wealthiest person, whose e-car company recently integrated Dogecoin payments for some of its items.</p> <p>Earlier this year, the SEC sued a number of corporations and crypto advocates.</p> <p>Block.One, Kik, Stefan Qin—founder of the Virgin Capital cryptocurrency fund—and the late John McAfee are among the notables.</p> <p>As previously stated, the regulatory agency even filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk in September 2018 for tweeting "I'm considering buying Tesla for $420. Funding has been secured." According to the SEC, such statement was "false and deceptive."</p> <p>Additionally, in August of last year, the agency threatened to sue Coinbase, the largest (and only publicly traded) crypto exchange in the United States, led by CEO Brian Armstrong. Coinbase was on the verge of launching a crypto financing facility based on the USDC stablecoin.</p> <p>The Securities and Exchange Commission threatened the corporation with a lawsuit over the securities issue.
