When the prophecy was about to come to pass, an angel came to a young lady called Mary and told her that she was going to give birth to the Messiah. This news was impossible to believe because she wasn't married. But by the help of the Holy Spirit and the life of God in her by the Spirit, she had the capacity to handle this situation, and she brought forth Jesus.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Luke 1:34 &amp; 35 (NKJV)</p> <p>Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I&nbsp;do not know a man?”</p> <p>And the angel answered and said to her,&nbsp;“The&nbsp;Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called&nbsp;the Son of God.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The angel told Mary how this impossible situation was going to happen through her. He said that the Holy Ghost will come on her and the power of the highest will overshadow her. Besides having the capacity to conceive and carry the pregnancy of the Messiah, Mary had to deal with the additional pressure of the shame and reproach of being pregnant outside wedlock. Her fiancé Joseph was embarrassed by the situation and was already contemplating putting her away quietly. But then because of the life of God that came upon her, she was able to successfully handle this very challenging phase of her life and fulfil God’s purpose for her life.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The life of God in us is real, yes, it is spiritual but it is practical and tangible with clear evidence that we can relate to.
