The Power of God in Jesus’ Earthly Ministry<br/><br/>Is 10:27 it shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken<br/>away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will<br/>be destroyed because of the anointing oil<br/><br/>● Satan hates the anointing – because it destroys his works<br/><br/>Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and<br/>with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were<br/>oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him<br/><br/>Lk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me<br/>to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the<br/>brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of<br/>sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised<br/><br/>2. Jesus Made the Same Explosive Power Available to Us<br/><br/>Acts 1:8 you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere in Jerusalem, Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth<br/><br/>● The purpose for the power is to save, heal and to set free<br/><br/>Mk 16:17-18 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name<br/>they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will<br/>take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means<br/>hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover<br/><br/>Matt 28:19 go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in<br/>the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit<br/><br/>● The purpose of the power is to make disciples to carry on the vision<br/>● If the early church knew they needed this power so do we<br/><br/>Acts 5:12, 15-16 through the hands of the apostles many signs and<br/>wonders were done among the people. so that they brought the sick<br/>out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the<br/>shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.
