The Power To Walk Away From Captivity - Audio

This is the first Passover meal that was performed and it was powerful. This Passover meal was in Egypt while the people of Israel were in captivity. It was the night before the people of Israel would leave captivity in Egypt forever. During the night, after the meal, all the firstborn of Egypt, all the houses without the blood on the doorposts, would perish as the death angel passed through. God’s people were protected by the blood and their obedience. The people of Israel were to leave Egypt, but they had to take the first step. See how this weaves right into the Last Supper that Jesus had with his disciples and the power that it too still has in our lives.
