The Power to Start Again 5

<p>Monday 5th April</p> <p><br></p> <p>The Power to Start Again 5 – Death is not the end&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>For century death terrorized the human race. Nothing and no one seemed immune against its power. It’s caused a lot of pain and sorrow to its victims and their loved ones. At the death of Lazarus, Jesus saw the utter hopelessness and helplessness of people in the face of death, this reality hit Him so much that He wept. (Jn. 11:36).</p> <p>Death is the end of life; it is the expiration and cessation of life supporting activities. Death is cold, unresponsive and mean but Jesus tamed, tortured and defeated death.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>14 Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had[g] the power of death. 15 Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hebrews 2:14-15 (NLT)</p> <p><br></p> <p>Death is no longer the end, the grave and hell is not our destination, especially for those who have made Jesus Lord of their lives. Jesus is the first begotten from the dead, not the only begotten from the dead (Rev. 1:5). In Christ, we are all destined to conquer death.</p> <p>So, understand that death no longer has the final say in your affairs; be it over your life, your work, marriage, business, education or whatever pertains to you.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>May this Easter mark the end of the torment of death in and around your life in the name of Jesus.
