The Power to Start Again 2

<p><strong>Friday 2nd April:</strong></p> <p><strong>The Power to Start Again - The Tale of Two Adams</strong></p> <p>All over the world Christians celebrate this week as Easter and today is specifically as Good Friday.</p> <p>The story of Easter is the story of the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the story of the triumph of life over death, of love over hate, of righteousness over sin and of the blessing over the curse. More importantly Easter is a reminder to us that even God Almighty believes in starting again.</p> <p>God created the first human male specie and gave him responsibility over the Garden of Eden, this first man was called Adam. Adam and his wife disobeyed God and lost their fellowship with God and control over the Garden and the earth. God almost immediately implemented the plan to get mankind back. He told Satan that, even though it seems he has won by making mankind fall into sin and separation from God but the offspring of the woman that he deceived would destroy his plan, that offspring is Jesus the last Adam. (Gen.3:15) This is where the story of Easter begins, it’s the tale of two Adams.</p> <p>“Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit [restoring the dead to life].”</p> <p>1 Cor. 15:45 AMPC</p> <p>God wasn’t afraid or ashamed to admit that something went wrong with the first Adam, No! He simply confronted the issue addressed it and started again. So that we are not in doubt that God started again, the scriptures refer to Jesus Christ as the last Adam. Your last attempt at doing what God told you to do might not have worked, start again. That is one many lessons of Easter. God bless you, enjoy your day</p>
