<p>Jared is a military brat, husband, brother, son, and friend. Jared and I met in high school and it was amazing to be able to reconnect and have this conversation with him. He spent most of his life being compared to his brother and proving that he can do anything his brother can. For so long we were taught that comparing yourself to others is a negative but in todays conversation Jared taught me that comparison used in a healthy way can help shape a person to become who they are meant to be.
