The Person of Love 3

<p>Wednesday 10th February&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p>A lovely Wednesday to you all in the name of Jesus.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>We are still talking about The Person of Love.</p> <p><br></p> <p>God is love, God is wisdom and God is power. Love is a Person and love is God and God is love. We can see why it's so difficult defining love because how do you define God? Do you define it as the Father, do you define it as the Son? Do you define it as the Word? Do you define it as the Spirit? Do you define it as infinity? &nbsp;And in all those things, you're right but you are not fully right because God is much more than all that, and it is the same when we are trying to define love.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>How do you explain the unexplainable? That was what Paul was trying to do, having experienced God love and transforming power, he wanted many more people to experience the same thing so he attempted to explain the love he had experienced. &nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (RSV)&nbsp;</p> <p>4 Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful;&nbsp;</p> <p>5 it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.&nbsp;</p> <p>7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.&nbsp;</p> <p>8 Love never ends; as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>In the traditional King James Version, it says in verse 8 "…charity never fails.”</p> <p><br></p> <p>This is Paul's attempts to explain the attributes of love. He was trying to say “...when you experience this love, when you truly experience this unexplainable, undefinable love of God, you will begin to see these things manifest in your life”.</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p>The love of God love truly is beyond definition, it's beyond explanation, it's something that when you experience it in its reality, you would k
