The Origins and Evolution of Genocide

<p>In the first episode of our podcast, we explore Raphael Lemkin's coinage of the term "genocide" and its stipulation in the 1948 United Nations Declaration on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. To provide an academic perspective, we interview Professor Adam Jones of the University of British Columbia to obtain his expertise on the evolution of genocide. To conclude, we discuss how processes of globalisation have influenced genocide's definition. </p>
