Description

“A solution will always float like a feather onto our floorboards if we don’t forget to leave a window open.” - MJ

– Do magical forces prod and nudge us to take care of the land and the Earth? Maybe so...

This tale is my mindfully re-written and adapted version of a Scandinavian folk tale. This session was created to honor our Planet and all it gives us, during this Earth Day Week. May every day be Earth Day; our home our foundation.

I’d add, in the practice of Wondering each day, look for the magic behind what you see. Nature has a way of showing itself in quiet waves and layers, like an onion. - MJ

For any Journaler’s and Writers, here is a Writing Prompt for the Week:

There is a philosophy that the world mirrors our own inner beliefs and way of being. We all endure hardships, every one of us. However, if we imagine a world as the best it can be, does it change our experiences?

If nature could speak, as the female elf what would it say? If you have a home, what might your land and the plants and animals have to share with you?

A Photo Assignment for the week: What on a hike might you see more deeply into if you stop, walk around it, sit with it and spend more time? This could be anything in nature. From trees to bushes, rocks to creekbeds. Everything has layers. See if you can peel some back, and capture images that reveal a new perspective.
