The Milwaukee Irish Fest

On Monday's Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey presented a piece by Clare FM's Sean Lyons as he took a trip to the Milwaukee Irish Fest. Covering 74 acres of Lake Michigan's shoreline, the event showcases Irish Music, history, dance, sport and culture. The annual festival was also attended by tourism agencies such as Tourism Ireland and Aer Lingus. Sean was performing at the festival with the group Merfolk and he also had the chance to catch up with Mayor Joe Cooney regarding the delegation's tourism promotion strategy and a few others attending the festival to speak about the tourism in Ireland and more specifically, Clare.
