<p>The Meaning of Labor Day</p> <p>We gladly grab any opportunity for a holiday and time away from work!</p> <p>Labor Day (also known as May Day in some parts of the world) is one such day in the calendar that we look forward to – having an extended weekend, potentially taking the entire week off to go on holiday or simply relax.</p> <p>But what truly is Labor Day?  How did it come to be? Most importantly, what lessons can we Muslims take from this “holiday” and offer solutions from Islam.</p>
