The Light has Come

<p>The lights at Christmas, including our home.  Something about lights, kids love them, we love them, we love the joy if brings.</p><p>It was a short encouragement sent by a former Swiss missionary to Brazil that made me start to think of all that the Bible has to say regarding light:</p><p>If one candle burns, it can light hundreds of other candles without ever loosing  any of it luster and glow.</p><p>Light travels at 186000 miles/sec, over 6 trillion miles in a year.  The whirlpool galaxy is over 23 million light years away from us. Light is hot, fast, bright, needed for vitamin D, helps attitude, relaxes, </p><p>“Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” Genesis 1:3 </p><p>“The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them.” Isaiah 9:2 </p><p>“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” Psalms 119:105 </p><p>“The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” John 1:5 </p><p>“There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.
