The Law of Moses had a specific purpose of revealing sin, it showed man that he was sinful; Jesus fulfilled the law and its demands. The Prophets spoke so much about Christ in such clear terms that you can trace the life of Jesus from His birth to His ressurection from death just by reading their writings. All of these was possible because the Spirit of God revealed the mind and plans of God to mortal men in different generations.
