<p>On today's episode, I'm extremely excited to be chatting with Mr. Kevin Sanders, drummer for the pop/rock pop punk band Cartel.</p> <p>Cartel is from Conyers, Georgia which is a suburb of Atlanta.</p> <p>We talk about a lot in this convo. We talk about the early days of the band, linking up with producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount.</p> <p>We talk about Chroma, The MTV experiment, major labels, and what it's like to have a legacy as a band in general but also as a band in the subculture that is Emo.</p> <p>We talk about being a band doing things on its own terms and having fun in the process.</p> <p>I thoroughly&nbsp;enjoyed this conversation. I've been a band for almost 20 years now and talking to Kevin felt like talking to a bud.
