Nancy Mbani
Description

Welcome to a mystical romp that occurs halfway between the Spring Equinox, and the Summer Solstice. May Day is the first of the month, and in Ireland, it has been celebrated for centuries – It is known as Beltane, or as the Festival and Celebration of the May Tree.

This special event in Ireland honors the mid-spring season, with 7 weeks till summer.

Nature is always attuned and in balance.

As a participant in the cycles of the year, our own inner travels from winter are now blooming outward. The seeds below ground are sprouting through fertile soul; up, out and toward the sunlight.

In Ireland, on May 1st, Villages, Townlands and communities offer up a seasonal rite of passage by decorating Hawthorne trees, as well as the front gates of homes.

Our many months inside the dark inner caves of winter begin to fall away.

This meditation is a creative variation of the Irish celebration.
