<p>EPISODE 1.1</p><p>The Introduction THE NBA MINISERIES🏀: TO MORE THAN A TREND#️⃣, CONTINUING THE SOCIAL JUSTICE AND RACIAL EQUALITY CONVERSATION</p><p><em>Dropping this very first episode to the series in two parts.</em></p><p>The first part: an introduction to this mini series and why I felt compelled to start this.</p><p>As much as it’s incredible that racial equality and social justice issues are FINALLY being addressed and have made it to the mainstream, just because this conversation all of a sudden popped up in circles where it wasn’t discussed before, doesn’t mean it should fade. The conversation shouldn’t take place just when it’s convenient, trending, or a #hashtag on social media, when it’s politically correct or good for branding to do so…the conversation should happen.period. All the time. It should happen moving forward, Which is why in this series I hope to just reiterate the importance of continuing the conversation in your own circles and stretching even beyond that….having important, sometimes awkward, sometimes painful discussions with those who may be different than you but conversations that are crucial to keep the pendulum moving forward in our society. Because there’s already too much divisievenss and division. Let’s stop the DIVISION and move towards MULTIPLICATION. One conversation multiplying to another, leading to another. All to fight the good fight. ALL THE TIME. FOR RACIAL EQUALITY.
