The Great Escape - 5

<p>It's a beautiful Sunday morning for you in the name of Jesus!</p> <p>I remember this song we used to sing back in those days in the school assembly</p> <p>&nbsp;All things bright and beautiful</p> <p>All creatures big and small</p> <p>All things bright and wonderful</p> <p>The Lord God made them all</p> <p>I pray that this will continually be a bright and beautiful winning season for you in Jesus Name.</p> <p>Ps 74:20</p> <p>Lord remember your covenant promises for the land is full of darkness and violence.</p> <p>I'm sure a lot of us already understand the darkness and violence part. What we often don't remember is that God has given us promises to keep, shield and help us overcome the darkness and violence of this world.</p> <p>Matt 11:28-30 (MSG)</p> <p>"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest.</p> <p>Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.</p> <p>Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."</p> <p>God doesn't want you to be bogged down with religion. He wants you to come into a relationship with Him.</p> <p>He says:</p> <p>1. Come to me</p> <p>2. Get away with me (disconnect from everything else occupying and distracting your mind &amp; focus your attention on me). When you do that,</p> <p>3. You will recover your life</p> <p>4. I will show you how to take a real rest.</p> <p>God wants to restore you...and the only way is through a vibrant relationship with Him. &nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
