The grass at the other side ……….

<p><br>When I was given the charge of the health project, I was too excited. I identified about 10 basic health tips that I knew. And I applied for myself. Like How do I have a glowing skin?? Oh, I massage my body with coconut oil before bath. For that matter, I also used mustard oil, or sesame oil, Or even the fancy hair oil at times. How do I keep healthy through thick and thin? I used to travel too much.. Daily 180 kilometers… Waking up at 5 am and coming back home at 9 PM. A schedule of 16 hours a day.. I eat simple food and lots of seasonal vegetables And I used Sanitary napkins During menstruation. Used Neam leaves, Dettol at times Lot of Turmeric Shampoo my hair with methi.. Washed vegetables before cutting Lots of green leaves My food used to be multicoloured.. Soooooooooo What was the excitement for? Actually, it had nothing to do with what I knew. It was the opportunity .. To work with women Who were in a village level cooperative. Imagine! About 60 ladies at one place, at the least, at every village. And after 6 months I could 🎐Get rid of the continuous cycle of malaria-chicken pox by introducing mushroom to their daily diet 🎐Have every cooperative save minimum Rs.40,000/- a year 🎐Give 10 basic health tips, ensured the breakfast to be regular and in time during 8am – 10 am 🎐Have the backyard leafy vegetables in abundant.. and 🎐Have the girls go to school, and to college and to attend some vocational training like tailoring and computer learning… When I was writing these as part of the annual reports, one of my junior team member created a DISPUTE. A Friction!! The Caste problem was yet to be resolved.. The so called low caste ladies still had their meetings separately.. And.. That I somehow avoided the conflict by holding meetings in the OPEN.. Not in anybody’s premise.. Was a STRATEGY. Let progress happen as much as possible. Let people overcome their LIMITATIONS as far as possible. Of course, DIGNITY matters Ahead of any knowledge. But how will it be achieved WITHOUT any knowledg
