<p>Sunday 11 April 2021</p> <p><br></p> <p>The God That Starts Again. 6</p> <p><br></p> <p>Years ago, I heard the story of this young man who was in a relationship with a young lady during the Nigerian civil war. There was a raid on their area and as they were escaping, the lady was hit by a bullet and she eventually died in her fiancé’s hands. This man did not start another relationship again because each time he got into the relationship, he was held back by the thought of his late fiancée and he just could never move past it in his mind.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Sometimes people have these mental or spiritual blocks that keep them from starting again. Understand that no matter what has happened in the past, we can start again bigger and better. We can start again in spite of the mistakes of the past, we can start again even if our initial attempts didn’t turn out well, we can move into our present and future with power and possibility.</p> <p><br></p> <p>&nbsp;Mark 8: 23 - 25 (NLT)</p> <p><br></p> <p>&nbsp;23 Jesus took the blind man by the hand…he laid his hands on him and asked, “Can you see anything now?”24 The man looked around. “Yes,” he said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.” 25 Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored...”</p> <p><br></p> <p>Jesus, the sinless One laid His hands on this man and he wasn’t completely healed; it didn’t turn out perfectly. &nbsp;Jesus said “Can you see?” and he said “I can see but I see men walking like trees.” Jesus was evaluating his work by asking the man if he could see. In the story of creation, we saw that God daily evaluated His work, when it met His standard, He said it was good. So, feedback is very important in all we do. So, when the blind man said he couldn’t see clearly, Jesus went over the process again and the man began seeing clearly.
