<p>&nbsp;Friday 6th August&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Fullness of Life. 6</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Jesus came so that we can have life and have it in its fullness. That life offers us God’s peace, joy and power. The life we are talking about is more than anything man has ever experienced. “The Fall” , like we had established earlier, brought mankind as low as the dust. Every attempt by man to experience that kind of life again has failed. God, however, offered us something more superior through the blood of Jesus. No blood, human or animal could atone for the sin of mankind because the life that was in the first Adam was above them all.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Hebrew 10:4-7 (NIV),&nbsp;4 It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. 5Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; 6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. 7 Then I said, ‘Here I am - it is written about me in the scroll—I have come to do your will, my God.’'</p> <p><br></p> <p>Since the life that the first Adam lost was from God only the life of God&nbsp; &nbsp;could truly restore man. This is why Jesus came, God put on flesh, came into the world, lived a sinless life and gave up His life for mankind, so that we can experience the life of God.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>While celebrating the Last Supper with His disciples, He said, “…this is my body that is broken for you and my blood that is shed for the forgiveness of your sin. It is the testament to the new covenant in My blood”. This was beyond what the blood of animals could do, it required the very blood of God. That blood gave us access to the life of God, the very essence of life, the fullness of life. The Greeks call it Zoe- the very life of God. This life is more than what the natural mind can fully comprehend.</p> <p><br></p> <p>I prayed in the name of Jesus that the price that God paid for us will not be in vain, may we grow in our knowledge and experience of God's fullness
