The Force of Joy_4

<p>Thursday 24 June&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Force of Joy 4</p> <p><br></p> <p>Nothing in the kingdom of Gods just happens; whether it is joy, peace, or any blessing from God, nothing just happens. There are things we must do to ensure the things we desire come to pass. In Jesus’ teaching about the parable of the Sower, He was making us understand that works in the kingdom of God works in line with the law of the farm or the law of sowing and reaping. You need to initiate a process to see the things you desire come to pass. There must be the planting of the seed before the reaping of the fruit.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Galatians 5: 22 - 23 (NLT),</p> <p>22&nbsp;But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. 23&nbsp;gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Fruit don’t just grow, they are planted and cultivated in a field, farm or a garden. So, if we want to reap the fruit of joy, we must cultivate it. The joy of the Lord is not a function of church attendance or being involved in church activities. It is not a gift of the Spirit; it is a fruit. To get a fruit, you need the seed, the soil, the environment and there is a conscious effort that is involved in making sure the seed becomes a fruit. If you will see the fruit of joy grow and mature in our lives, we must be intentional about cultivating it and not leave it to chance.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I pray the Lord's strength and wisdom be released to you afresh so you can take responsibility for cultivating the wonderful fruit in your life in the name of Jesus.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>God bless you.
