<p>Monday 21st&nbsp;June&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>The Force of Joy</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This week we are talking about the force of joy. A force is an influence or power that can make things, in that case, joy is a force because it can make things happen in our lives.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Some have asked “How do we stay joyful when life is painful and stressful?” Earlier in the series, we differentiated between joy and happiness. The joy of the Lord isn’t dependent on outside happenings. The bible says that the joy of Lord is our strength and we draw this strength as we interact with the Holy Spirit. This fellowship with the Holy Spirit releases divine forces into our lives making us function in a way that is above the natural human being. The story of the three Hebrew boys readily comes to mind. By divine enablement, they were able to go through situations that destroyed others and come out unharmed. There was an atmosphere that they carried that was different from every other person. There are certain environments where forces like joy thrive in and there are environments that they don’t.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>God understands the power of the environment that was why He invested the first 5 days of creation to prepare the place for the people (Adam &amp; Eve) He created on the 6th&nbsp;day will stay. God did this because He knows that people can be programmed by places. Your environment matters.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Genesis 2 vs 15 (NKJV),&nbsp;15&nbsp;Then the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;God took&nbsp;the man and put him in the garden of Eden to&nbsp;tend and keep it.</p> <p><br></p> <p>God was so deliberate about the environment and atmosphere around man that He put in a Garden called Eden. Eden means delight or pleasure. Eden was an environment of celebration and joy; it was an atmosphere where the force of joy could flourish. If we truly want the joy of the Lord to thrive in our, we must be mindful of the atmosphere around us.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>God bless you, enjoy your day.</p>
