THE FIRES OF PERSECUTION

<p dir="ltr"><span class="x_-1311394009highlight"><span class= "x_-1311394009colour"><span class="x_-1311394009font"><span class= "x_-1311394009size">The fires of persecution begin to rise up against the new believers in Jesus as the religious attacks against them are awakened as the truth of Jesus spreads throughout Jerusalem.</span></span></span></span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span class="x_-1311394009highlight"><span class= "x_-1311394009colour"><span class="x_-1311394009font"><span class= "x_-1311394009size">Jesus always threatens the power structures of religion, government, social, and economic life when in the hands of men and not the Spirit of God.</span></span></span></span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span class="x_-1311394009highlight"><span class= "x_-1311394009colour"><span class="x_-1311394009font"><span class= "x_-1311394009size">We are seeing such intense persecution today against the followers of Jesus.  In the last 100 years more Christians and Jews have been murdered and persecuted t.hen in the combined previous two thousand years.</span></span></span></span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span class="x_-1311394009highlight"><span class= "x_-1311394009colour"><span class="x_-1311394009font"><span class= "x_-1311394009size">This should awaken us, Jesus is about to return.  The cries of the martyrs in Revelation 6 ask for justice.  Our brothers and sisters around the world cry out with them.  How long will Jesus tarry?</span></span></span></span></p>
