The finish line will CHANGE you- TCS NYC Marathon reflection

<p>If you tune in to last weeks episode..  you know this last weekend I completed the TCS NYC Marathon. I’m familiar with the distance. I know the discomfort that’s coming, yet every single race I am pushed to a next level version of myself. <br/><br/>People always say ‘the person who toes the start line isn’t the same person who crosses the finish line’ and even if you aren’t a runner I know this episode is going to be relatable for YOU. Because the ‘race’ that we try to incorporate in to our day to day human lives has so many parallels.<br/><br/>You are in a hurry to get ‘there’<br/>When things get uncomfortable you pull back <br/>When life feels hard you put your struggles on a pedestal saying &quot;I&apos;m just so unlucky&quot; or &quot;there is no way anybody else feels this way&quot;</p><p>This episode is equal parts an ‘I love you AND’ type of episode but also me pulling back the curtains on some of my biggest growth moments that happened in the TCS NYC Marathon!<br/><br/>Join my text list **<br/>Connect with me on IG **<br/>Slate **</p><p><br/></p>
