<p>In the spring of 1947 with Palestine on the brink of war, three boys stopped at a watering hole near the dead sea.&nbsp;</p> <p>One of the boys, bored, wandered off and began throwing rocks into the nearby caves.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hearing the faint crash of pottery he thought he struck treasure.
