The Daily Mess: Forgiveness

<p>99.9% of the time I'm only trying to improve a situation and end up getting hurt. &nbsp;The human imagination is constantly working it's way through corporate structures, determining how to bring out ways to a better performance. &nbsp;Only to be silenced. &nbsp;You can't fault the farmer wanting to strengthen his feeding fields. &nbsp;I didn't set out to change radio. &nbsp;I stepped into an industry already evolving. &nbsp;What I violated was the connection between advertisers and listeners. &nbsp;As a writer and producer I vowed to protect that relationship. &nbsp;As an employee that shook the rules of how it really is. &nbsp;I still hear the Operations Manager telling me that it's not about the listener. &nbsp;It's about the money. &nbsp;My reaction was forgiveness. &nbsp;In a moment of my beliefs and leadership being called wrong my choice was to forgive him.</p> --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/arroe-collins/message
