The Daily Mess: Exhaustion

<p>No day passes that someone isn't explaining how exhausted they are. &nbsp;It's almost become the great excuse, "Be patient with them they're exhausted." &nbsp;Do we really know exhaustion? &nbsp;Not to brag about my sister but she was the caretaker for my mother, father and brother. &nbsp;She's exhausted and so are millions of other healthcare workers who've endlessly stayed on the pandemic recovery journey. &nbsp;Received a text late last night from Joe Lindsley. &nbsp;The American journalist in Ukraine. &nbsp;He spoke of exhaustion. &nbsp;From the air raid sirens to physically being present in a war torn nation. &nbsp;His focus is truly connected to sharing the story of the people of Ukraine. &nbsp;I've known Joe for nearly three decades. &nbsp;His text redefined exhaustion. &nbsp;And he sees no way and or reason to stop what he's doing as an American Journalist in Ukraine. &nbsp;I'm amazed by the strength of the mind body and soul. &nbsp;The calling is one thing. &nbsp;Obeying is another.</p> --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/arroe-collins/message
