Sunday 25th April    Courage to Start Again 7   In the book " Life is Tremendous " by Charles Jones, he said this; " You'll be the same person you are today in the next five years except for the people you company with and the book you read."   By this he meant that your life will be influenced by the people you company with and the materials (books, CDs, etc) that you consume. Do you want to boost your level of courage? Then consume courageous content, consume articles that would inspire and motivate you.   Genesis 33:1-4 (GNB)  1 Jacob saw Esau coming with his 400 men, so he divided the children among Leah, Rachel, and the two concubines. 2 He put the concubines and their children first, then Leah and her children, and finally Rachel and Joseph at the rear. 3 Jacob went ahead of them and bowed down to the ground seven times as he approached his brother. 4 But Esau ran to meet him, threw his arms round him, and kissed him. They were both crying.   When Jacob eventually met Esau and the 400 horsemen with him, it was a different experience altogether. The same Esau who vowed to kill Jacob after the death of their parents was full of seeing his twin brother. What changed between the time that Jacob received the news of Esau’s coming and when they actually met? Jacob had separated himself to have time alone with God and that encounter transformed him, he was literally changed from Jacob to Israel. Jacob was the man Esau wanted to kill, Israel was the new man he met, he saw God's favour, peace and presence on him and he was at peace with him. That's what the presence of God can do in a person’s life.   I pray that God’s presence will touch and transform you into a new person, that He will infuse with courage to rise up, go after your dreams and conquer in the name of Jesus.   God bless you, enjoy the rest of your day
