<p>&nbsp;Saturday 24th April&nbsp;</p> <p><br></p> <p>Courage to Start Again 6</p> <p><br></p> <p>We have had some time to discuss the life of Moses and his past struggles. The first time Moses tried to execute his God given dream, he failed woefully that he had to run away from Egypt. He had become so deflated and disillusioned over his forty stay in Midian that he could not see God bringing the children of Israel out of Egypt. Everything God said about sending him back to Egypt to deliver Israel was met with a series of excuses.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Regardless of all Moses was saying, God did not give up on Moses, He kept talking to him and reasoning with him. As Moses stayed with God, things began to change. He changed so much that he not only had the courage to return to Egypt and deliver Israel, he became a man who was feared by Pharaoh and the whole of Egypt.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Let read Exodus 7 vs 1 (GNB), The LORD said, “I am going to make you like God to the king, and your brother Aaron will speak to him as your prophet.</p> <p><br></p> <p>What a word! Moses that was so terrified by just the thought of Pharaoh was now seen as a God by Pharaoh. The tides had been turned. If you read further in the same book of Exodus, Pharaoh literally bowed before Moses and asked Moses to bless him. This is what happens to us when we hang around God long enough, His presence transforms lives, especially when we allow His presence to fill our spirit and mind. His presence flushes out every element of fear and excuse, creates a new person out of the old and breaks one out of obscurity.
