The Courage To Start Again 2

<p>Tuesday 20th April</p> <p><br></p> <p>The Courage to Start Again</p> <p><br></p> <p>The journey of starting again is never an easy one. Finding the inner strength to start again usually requires drawing inspiration from a person or purpose higher than us. The reality of past failure experiences can be so powerful that it grounds people completely.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Whether it’s Moses heading back to Egypt to deliver God’s people or Joshua mobilizing the people to cross over Jordan and take the promised land or even Winston Churchill defending Great Britain from German invasion, all of them had to draw strength and inspiration to go all the way from a person or purpose higher than themselves.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Deuteronomy 31 vs 6 (NLT),</p> <p><br></p> <p>6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.</p> <p><br></p> <p>This bible passage is reminding us that God’s Person and presence is our source of courage and without courage we cannot accomplish anything great. Joshua was about to embark on the greatest assignment of his life. To get the people moving toward their purpose again, he had to refresh the mind about the realities of the promised land and help them understand that the victories they enjoyed under Moses were really about God not Moses. This task was impossible for Joshua without God, but Moses helped him and all the people focus on something higher than themselves - God and His purpose.</p> <p><br></p> <p>I want you to elevate your mind and see beyond the current struggles and past failures. God is higher than the highest and He is for you, discover His purpose for this season of your life and you will find the courage to start again.</p> <p><br></p> <p>God bless you, enjoy the rest of your day.</p>
