The Conversation: ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, perpetuating the Hawaiian language

We share different stories about the Hawaiian language: learning the history and plans to update HPR’s Hawaiian Word of the Day; staging the Hawaiian language play "Ho’oilina" at the University of Hawaiʻi; hearing about the work of female newspaper columnists in the 1940s; and restoring the original place name of Hunananiho to Oʻahu's Windward community.
