The Complexities of Conviction _ Pt 4

And a wonderful Thursday morning to you in the name of Jesus.</p> <p>We are still talking about the complexities of conviction and I trust God in the name of Jesus that you are having victory over all the complexities that are trying to drown your conviction in Jesus name.</p> <p>We will read the book of Luke 22:31-34 &amp; 60-62 (NLT).&nbsp;</p> <p>“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.” Peter said, “Lord, I am ready to go to prison with you, and even to die with you.” But Jesus said, “Peter, let me tell you something. Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me”.&nbsp;</p> <p>Verse 60-62</p> <p>"But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you are talking about.” And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. At that moment the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Suddenly, the Lord’s words flashed through Peter’s mind: “Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.” And Peter left the courtyard, weeping bitterly".</p> <p>It was the Passover, Jesus was having this last Passover with His disciples and He was telling them about the fact that He was going to the cross and it was going to be a very difficult season for them and all of them will be offended because of Him, all of them will deny Him. Then Peter said "Jesus, No matter what happens, I am the rock; You call me the rock . I am going to be with you through thick and thin even if it means dying with you". Sometimes during that night, the temple guards came. Judas betrayed Him. They picked Jesus up and they set Him through a trial and Peter was watching everything that was going on from afar and he was seeing the way the situation was going. He was shocked an
