<p>Part 2</p> <p>Acomi and Turk182 talk about charity and charitable efforts, and why they don&#39;t always believe in it. They challenge the belief in giving money to beggars and panhandlers, and why we feel the need to lie. When asked for money or &quot;spare change&quot;, why do we lie to spare the person&#39;s feelings? Why don&#39;t we just say no? We&#39;re under to obligation to give money to anyone freely. </p> <p>But, when we&#39;re feeling charitable and we donate money, there&#39;s an expectation of appreciation from the requestor. But, when your generosity isn&#39;t appreciated, you&#39;re told your act of charity isn&#39;t enough and they want more, what&#39;s the protocol? </p> <p>Why should we be shamed for not helping someone that we aren&#39;t obligated to help? Why can&#39;t we simply say, &quot;No, I don&#39;t want to.&quot;? Or, just &quot;No.&quot;. Or, &quot;Yes, I have money, but it&#39;s mine.
