The testimony of the Holy Scriptures is unanimous: The Holy Spirit is the only One who can empower us to live the holy life we have been called to live! He gives us power to overcome sin and be obedient to Jesus Christ! The process of dying to sin more and more is called sanctification. It’s an ongoing process, worked out by the Holy Spirit: “You were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11). What has Holy Spirit been teaching us these few weeks? Believing in Jesus means...OBEYING JESUS!! Many are saying that if doesn't matter how we live in Christ because we have His blood and His grace to cover our sins! Again, we do... the PROBLEM is that they are teaching and promoting that you can disobey God and still live, having eternal life ANYWAY! YEAH THAT PART...A-N-Y-W-A-Y! Some (and what I mean by some)....is a lot, are promoting on public platforms, no less, that you can keep right on sinning, keep on disobeying Jesus, keeping on grieving Holy Spirit, keep on denying the holiness and sovereignty of God, keep on ignoring the Holy Scriptures concerning righteous and holy living and still make it into the Kingdom! And when we say, that Once saved/Always saved, aka, "eternal security" is a doctrine of devils, they say we preach legalism! That somehow obedience to Christ is legalism!! Are you kidding me?!
