Jonah has long been known as 'the man who ran'. With God's call before him, he attempted to escape it all by going in the opposite direction from where God wanted him. With Tarshish as his chosen destination, he rebelliously set sail, And while he never made it there, his intent was clear, all brought about by his decision to say no to God.
