The AMP Reviews Penguin Highway (2018)

<p>On this episode, Cat and Joe discuss and review a sci-fi coming-of-age movie chock full o' penguins, mystery, and dentist visits... that knows no rules. Penguin Highway is a fun and bizarre detour about a young precocious boy obsessed with research and a woman several years his senior who seems to be tied to some unusual happenings. This film was aptly described as 'Stranger Things in the daytime' by Variety magazine, and is directed by <a href="https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5995018/?ref_=tt_ov_dr">Hiroyasu Ishida</a>, based on the 2010 novel by Tomihiko Morimi (who also wrote the novel 'The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl', reviewed in episode 10).
