Thanks to the lockdown, new challenges in education opened up new opportunities

<p>Higher educational institutes all over the world, including Stellenbosch University, went through some stormy waters to continue with teaching while the COVID-19 pandemic forced everyone to stay indoors. Lecturers and students have learned some lessons on how to continue under these difficult circumstances with teaching and learning. Dr Mags Blackie, a senior lecturer in chemistry, has also learned some lessons and thanks to her problem-solving mindset created new teaching methods that also support the learning capabilities of students. Angelique Dreyer interviews Dr Blackie, who will share her experience with us.</p>
