Description

Since the pandemic began, nearly 60,000 people living and working in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities have died from the coronavirus. Congress must take action now to help keep these Texans safe. That growing number is why AARP is urging Congress and the Administration to act now to protect our seniors who call these facilities home and with the summer break coming, Congress is on the clock. AARP Texas State Director Tina Tran joined Prepare to Care podcast host Charlene Hunter James to talk about the issue and what must be done to keep our seniors from meeting a fatal fate.
