<p>Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has claimed that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has lost the dressing room.</p>, <p>Merson was speaking on Sky Sports after Newcastle eliminated the Red Devils from the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.</p>, <p>Miguel Almiron, Lewis Hall and Joe Willock all scored for the Magpies as they recorded a comfortable 3-0 win at Old Trafford.</p>, <p>“Newcastle made eight changes and United have been beaten 3-0.</p>, <p>“I personally think the manager has lost the players. There’s ways of losing football matches, and everyone loses matches, but they were completely beaten tonight after going 1-0 down as they were last week against Manchester City,” Merson said.</p>, <p>Ten Hag is now under immense pressure at United, after watching his team slump to an eighth defeat in all competitions.</p>, <p>It was also the second 3-0 reverse at home in four days following Sunday’s loss to Manchester City.</p>
