Team Up _ Pt 2

<p>Tuesday 24th November 2020</p> <p>Hello and lovely Tuesday to you in the name of Jesus. We are talking about “Team Up.”</p> <p>Why?</p> <p>Because it is possible to team down. And what do we mean? Every time we get into a team, it has the tendency to take us up or down. And so many have gotten into teams that have taken them down and made life miserable for them. We want to look at how we can get into those teams or become part of those teams that takes us up and not down.</p> <p>Yesterday, we read about a story in Proverbs 13: 20 (KJV)</p> <p>“He that walketh with wise <em>men</em> shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”</p> <p>The fact is, if you want to end up as a wise person, just team up with wise people.</p> <p>You want to end up a winner?</p> <p>Team up with winning people and you will end up a winner.</p> <p>Let's read Proverb 30: 24 – 28 (MSG)</p> <p>“There are four small creatures, wisest of the wise they are—</p> <p>ants—frail as they are, get plenty of food in for the winter;</p> <p>marmots—vulnerable as they are, manage to arrange for rock-solid homes;</p> <p>locusts—leaderless insects, yet they strip the field like an army regiment;</p> <p>lizards—easy enough to catch, but they sneak past vigilant palace guards.”</p> <p>The Bible is telling us about this little or small creatures, yet he says they are “the wisest of the wise.” They could have looked at themselves and say “oh we are small and disadvantaged ...” but the Bible is telling us here that what they seem to be weak in; in terms of “size”, they made up for in terms of “sense”, (they are wise).</p> <p>So, it is important you understand that no matter where you are, you have some things working for you.</p> <p>One of the first things you need to understand when it comes to teaming up and not down is, to “know yourself.” Know yourself, be true to yourself; you are who you are, you are what you are, but you can get better.</p> <p>These animals are not fighting over not being of elephant size, they are small and fine with
