These guys finished third in this year’s <a href="https://otilloswimrun.com/race/otillo-swimrun-world-championship/">ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship</a> and they share their intense race story with us (spoiler alert: broken bones were involved). This was a great conversation and we can’t wait to share it with you.</p><p>But first... </p><p><strong>Training Update</strong></p><p><a href="https://www.odysseyswimrun.com/orcas">Ödyssey Swimrun’s Orcas Island</a> is in the rearview mirror and we are looking forward to <a href="https://www.odysseyswimrun.com/austin">Ödyssey Swimrun Austin</a> in five weeks. We took this week chill but will start our last training block of the year on Monday!</p><p><strong>Shoutouts</strong></p><p>This week we’re shouting out <a href="https://brandonnelson.com/">Brandon Nelson</a>. We met Brandon at Orcas Island and his enthusiasm for Swimrun was very apparent, a.k.a., he’s super stoked. So apparent in fact, that he signed up with his buddies to go race Ödyssey Swimrun Ludington and sent us a really nice message while he was enjoying a well-earned post-race beer with his crew. </p><p>BTW, if you’re looking for real estate in the Bellingham Washington area, Brandon is your guy!</p><p><strong>Feats of Endurance</strong></p><p>The award this week goes to everyone that was running up and down sand dunes on Sunday at <a href="https://www.odysseyswimrun.com/ludington">Ödyssey Swimrun Ludington</a> in Michigan. Strong work everyone!
