Dr. Jason Baehr is a Professor of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University. He is also the Co-Founder of the Intellectual Virtues Academy (IVA), a charter middle school in Long Beach California. He is the author of Deep In Thought: A Practical Guide to Teaching for Intellectual Virtues Jason joins host Mike Palmer in an exploration of intellectual virtues. What are they? Why are they important? And how can we teach them? We touch on values epistemology, the practical experiences drawn from teaching at IVA.
