<p>Tariro Mavondo is one of those special, multi-discipline artists that don’t come around too often. She’s just as comfortable taking on mainstream acting roles as she is performing spoken word and writing poetry. </p><p> </p><p>I mean, aren’t we all?</p><p> </p><p>Alongside her solo creative career, Tariro has always harboured a desire to uplift those around her as well. </p><p> </p><p>With the unprecedented ruling out live performance, the “uplifting” aspect of her life has only become a greater focus, with Tariro providing direction, training and guidance to young Victorians in her role as co-artistic director of Western Edge Youth Arts.</p><p> </p><p>Thank you to Uncle Jack Charles for the acknowledgement of country.</p><p> </p><p>Instagrammers!
