Description
The Taoiseach says extensive stakeholder engagement is underway as part of the second phase of a greenway project linking Scariff with Limerick City. Leo Varadkar was responding to a Dáil question from Clare Independent TD Michael McNamara who's said the project has the potential to deliver significant tourism to Scariff, Killaloe and O'Briensbridge. The proposed Greenway will cross the River Shannon over the Black Bridge and follow the old Errina canal to Clonlara and O'Briensbridge and onwards to Killaloe and Scariff. The Taoiseach says all routes will be looked at to ensure that the project continues to progress.
