<p>On Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 the consumer staples company Clorox (CLX) reported better-than-expected 1Q earnings, which resulted in a close the following day nearly two full basis points higher. John Staszak, CFA, of Argus Research says Clorox has continued to benefit from the Delta variant of the novel coronavirus during the quarter even though some key household segments delivered weakening year-over-year sales growth. </p><p><br></p>
