Take him at his word

There is only one way to know God and what he is about ... it is through his word as delivered in his Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16-17. And as you would read a definition in a textbook for a course you are studying and believe it, or a manual to assembling a table as guidance or that 1+1=2, God's word is as evident. Isaiah 55:11. His word never goes back 'void' to him. Now many won't know or understand him until they take his word. Many of us struggle to start/live the journey because we do not believe what he says he is and what he will do. When God says when you call my name I will answer, believe that he does as he says Number 23:19. Because when we don't believe,we will mistaken the effect for unbelief for his promise of being there as false when the effect is for our unbelief Hebrews 11:6. That's why he says to workout your faith. Phil2:12.
