When I came down, I wanted other people to reach their own Everest. I was on Antarctica, the final push on the high camp, the weather came in a vengeance. We went down to heat up. I was shivering and woke up screaming because I frostbit my nose. I realized then this is my empowerment factor. There is no one coming in to rescue you. We have to muster up our will and mindset.
